Membership requires monthly program dues that vary by level and are payable through PayPal on our website. Additionally, there is an annual $100 registration fee due each August, as well as annual AAU and USA memberships. Practices are held at the Legacy Pool within the Huntsville Aquatic Center (2213 Drake Avenue, Huntsville, AL 35805) on weekdays from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to Noon. We strive for an optimal coach-to-diver ratio of 1:8 and maintain a maximum of 1:10. Our dive program runs through four seasons: Spring (February-May), Summer (June-August), Fall (September-November), and Winter (December-January).

 

PROGRAMS

Youth Programs (Ages 18 and Under)

• Developmental Program: Introductory level for beginners, focuses on basic skills (dry-land and in-water). 1.5-hour practices (4:00 PM - 5:30 PM). Eligible for HDA-hosted meets only.

• Silver Program: Builds on fundamentals, emphasizes technique and skill progression. 2.25-hour weekday practices (4:00 PM - 6:15 PM). Eligible for skills exhibitions, Olympic Rings, Champions, and Alabama invitational meets.

• Gold Program: High-level competitive skill development. 3-hour weekday practices (1-hour dry-land/lecture + 2-hour diving), varied weekend schedule. Expected to attend home invitationals, encouraged for away meets. Divers must have one dive in each direction and practice weekly. Eligible for FINA, Regional, National, Invitational, and high school meets (USA Diving membership separate). Aims to prepare athletes for national-level junior competitions (FINA/AAU age groups).

• High School Diver: The High School Diver program, requiring coach approval, meets 1-2 days per week for 2-hour sessions, running from August through November.

Adult Programs (19 & older)

• Masters Program: Adult diving program offering recreational and competitive options, including Masters events and support for youth. Emphasizes fitness, requires AAU membership, and holds 2-hour Friday practices. Contact for details.
